Yeosol Tax Accounting Firm has been providing specialized tax services through its sports and entertainment service “SHERPA FOR YOU” to clients—such as professional athletes and entertainers—who have income structures distinct from those of general businesses and individuals. Recently, it also launched “TAX PASSPORT,” a specialized international tax service for clients with cross-border income.
AXIA, with their presence in the UK, USA, and the UAE provides international accounting, tax, and business management services to athletes, professionals in the music, TV, and film industries, and digital creators in the UAE and other regions.
Through this MOU, the two firms have agreed to mutually support clients in their respective markets, including South Korea, the UK, and the UAE, by providing the local tax and accounting advice they need, and to build a cooperative framework capable of addressing cross-border tax issues based on joint consulting and information sharing.
Bang Joon-young, CEO at Yeosol Tax Accounting Firm, stated, “As the professional arenas for athletes and entertainment professionals rapidly globalize, tax matters are becoming increasingly difficult to resolve within the boundaries of a single country.” He added, “Building on the expertise we have accumulated through Sherpa4U and Tax Passport, we will expand our global advisory network through our collaboration with AXIA to provide more specialized support to our domestic and international clients.”
Andy Pollard, Senior Director at AXIA, remarked, “Korea is a key market where international influence is rapidly expanding in both the sports and content industries.” He continued, “We look forward to connecting the Korean and global markets through a substantive partnership with Yeosol Tax & Accounting Firm and providing a broader range of professional services to clients of both firms.”
The two companies plan to identify specific collaborative projects in phases and expand the scope of their cooperation in the fields of international tax, accounting, and business, with a focus on the sports, media, and entertainment industries.
